Great trip

Best birthday ever

The tour covered a lot of Ireland. My tour guide, Tony, was very knowledgeable and made the tour fun

Backpack with accessories was appreciated. Bus was clean and comfortable. Tour guide was knowledgeable.

A wonderful and organized trip! We enjoyed every moment of the tour.

Our driver Andy and guide Lisa were entertaining, informative and provided helpful information. Example the airline lost my baggage. Lisa directed me to places to shop for necessities. Andy made sure that we had our things stored safely when we were living out of a shopping bag.

Mark and Pat had a terrific time!

Loved every minute. We saw more than we could imagine , and our tour guides were well chosen. Both Diana and Lorenzo were superb.

Irish Adventure

Our Irish Adventure trip last month was our first tour. We could not have been happier! Everything went without a glitch from our arrival at the ariport to our hotel transfer, and daily tour trips. The information we received from CIE ahead of time was very helpful and the backpacks and chargers were a lovely gift. It was a very busy and active tour which we did know ahead of time. A very good tour was made even more exceptional by our tour guide, Brian Hanrahan. He was knowledgeable about the history and culture of Ireland and totally engaging, charming, entertaining and fun.
He kept us informed and entertained the entire trip and arranged excellent tours with city guides. He recommended a wonderful live performance, Gallic Roots which we attended and loved and our last farewell dinner was made even more memorable when Brian sang with the band! We are already looking into another CIE tour but don't know if we will be lucky enough to have a guide as exceptional as Brian!

A great tour with the best tour guide.

We loved the tour. We were able to visit the Blarney Castle, The Ring of Kerry with both the Skellig Experience and the sheep herding Demonstration. The Cliffs of Moher are a sight to behold while the dinner at Bunratty Castle was so enjoyable.

the best part of the tour was our guide Patrick. Not only was he knowledgeable, but he treated us like family. Parting ways with him was bittersweet. There was good craic to be had on this trip.

I would severely recommend this trip and would take another CIE tours trip. And If Patrick is leading the tour, I'm certainly game.

Although the schedule was hectic we saw everything we wanted to see in Ireland. Our tour guide/bus driver was a great driver but an average tour guide. We feel we missed some information about the areas we went buy on our trip due to either his lack of knowledge or inability to communicate the information fully.

Great Customer Service!!

We had to make some changes on the fly due to weather restrictions and we never missed a beat. Stayed at a different hotel but the service was great. the tour guide and driver were commendable in every aspect of our trip.

This was as described, a taste of Scotland & Ireland.

Everything from the tour guide to the accommodations were at least an 8 or better.

A Well Run Professional Organization

The entire operation was very professional and well organized. My Wife and I enjoyed the entire trip and all the amenities provided.

Driver and tour guide would improve this trip.

Having a driver and tour guide would make the trip more enjoyable. My last CIE tour had both and I feel it was better.
More free time would also be enjoyable.

The company does have nice tour packages for Ireland and Iceland, but the Italy tour is a bit lacking. The tour guide was knowledgeable about the country and the places we visited were nice. The biggest issue is the was the Italy tour lacked some of the choices in dining that the other tours included. The location of the hotels to markets and other places was not the best requiring guests to walk at least 15-20 min to from the hotel to get places. I enjoy CIE Tours, but the Italy Tour is not quite as good as others.

The your guide and bus driver were excellent.Everything about the trip was great. I would go again.

Great experience for the value!

CIE provided a well balanced experience for the value! Each stop was nicely coordinated with lots to see. Our tour guide Brendan did a great job of sharing lots of his own insights into the sights and history of the trip. Some of the trip itinerary info needs more transparency. Certain stops on our trip included finding our own lunch during a time restricted experience. Having to negotiate lunch was cutting too deeply into some of the sight stops.

Fall 2023

Arrived a day early and they still sent a car to the airport to pick us up tour was well managed and we were told in advance what the itinerary every evening. The history and pubs were amazing.

Ireland 2023 Visit

Very much enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide (Mark) was terrific and really helped make the trip. While we enjoyed seeing the usual tourist destinations like the Cliffs and Blarney Castle, etc, we really enjoyed the visits with Shawn Power (?), Billy Kean’s Pub, the Waterford and Belleck tours and the family apple orchard visit. Our only disappointment was the change in hotel in Galway I believe. We did not care for the Salthill hotel (?). It was too far from town. We also thought the size of the tour group was just right at 29 people.

It was everything I hoped it would be.
