English Odyssey - 14 Days/13 Nights-Tour Director was great.
The tour director was very knowledgeable on all aspects of UK history and culture, and provided us with so much information on what we were seeing. She even taught us proper English tea etiquette and provided daily tastes of "biscuits". It made the trip on the bus fun. She gave us individualized recommendations on what to do with our free time including places to see and restaurants. Everyone was so helpful.

Irish Adventure - 9 Days/8 Nights-Murt the Magnificent
Getting around the country as much as we did provided a pretty good taste of everything and a constant look at the gorgeous scenery. Everywhere we went, the people were 99% friendly. The hotels were nice. The prearranged menus got a little repetitive after day 3 but thankfully the guide was more than happy to recommend other places to dine. Speaking of the guide, he was very accommodating to everyone on the trip and was so fun to be around. He even sang, had a personal touch to some of the history, and did his best to figure out things he may not have known but his knowledge was vast. One of my siblings had a request for a very specific whiskey and Murt, the guide, called up a local shop or two, and found the stuff. Above and beyond.

English Odyssey - 14 Days/13 Nights-Well pleased with all components of our tour
The tour was well organized and well enjoyed. Our Guide was excellent and very organized. The sites selected to visit were all interesting and beautiful. We especially enjoyed the cathedrals!

Irish Explorer - 9 Days/8 Nights-Excellent!!
My sis and I really enjoyed our 1st trip to Ireland. Our tour guide/tour bus driver Dominic was knowledgeable, considerate, and funny. Our tour agent was was helpful and patient. I would go back to Ireland in a heartbeat and would consider using CIE again.

English Odyssey - 14 Days/13 Nights -Highly recommend CIE Tours
This was our first tour with CIE and we were very pleased. There was a good ratio of planned/free time, the itinerary was well paced, not rushed, and the places we visited were interesting. Our tour guide, Lisa was outstanding. Also, virtually ALL of our accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well located.

Icelandic Explorer - 10 days/9 nights-CIE Iceland tour was GREAT
Marie was a great tour guide for our group. She made sure day was exciting and she shared lots of Iceland knowledge. She went the extra to make sure everyone had a chance to see everything.

Irish Gold - 9 Days/8 Nights-So many golden memories from my Irish Gold Tour!
Excellent itinerary, excellent tour guide and excellent driver! Marlene Sullivan was so helpful and informative. She really knew SO much about every aspect of the places we visited and her talks along the way in the bus were fascinating. She took GREAT care of us all and was flexible when plans went astray (like the boat engine failed so the cruise on the fjiord was cancelled). And she went out of her way to help us set up a side tour for our free day in Dublin. David Martin, the bus driver handled the bus expertly even in the most challenging places and SANG to us as well --in a polished gorgeous tenor voice. All the hotels were great and the food was excellent. I can't say enough about how much I thoroughly enjoyed this tour.

The tour guide and driver really made this trip the best. The weather could have cooperated better...you have to b ready to keep on a constant run on this trip. We saw so many castles or ruins, but best was seeing sites where TV filmed.

Irish Gold - 9 Days/8 Nights-Beauty Abounds!
This was my first trip to Ireland and this company shared the history and culture of the people across thousands of years. The guide Marlene Sullivan was outstanding in her knowledge and care of us all. The bus driver David Martin is also a 10 as he is a classically trained tenor and serenaded us every now and then. The beauty at Ross Castle in Kilkenny National Park and riding in on a horse drawn cart, was overwhelming it was so gorgeous, complete with 4 swans!

The tour was great! We would change a couple things if we go back. We were glad we saw everything but this tour was very busy and fast moving. We would’ve like more free time in the cities visited. Brian, out guide was fantastic! Not overly excited about the seating charts on bus.

Irish Legends - 10 Days/9 Nights
I loved my trip. I even had a mobility issue due to sprained ankle and having to use a bulky walking boot to get around. I still got plenty of assistance and was able to go to most places. Consequently I want to go back to Ireland and visit the North. The hotels we stayed in were excellent. I enjoyed many of the places we visited: Dingle Penninsula, Burren State Park, and the South Pole Pub.

Memorable Journey & breathtaking landscape
Our tour guide Noel was very good-humored and very knowledgeable about the entire country of Ireland. He really enjoyed giving us a customized tour experience and pointed out many of the facts about the various sites we visited, including some very interesting insights on the city of Dublin and the history of Ireland/Northern Ireland.
