From our travelers
What a fabulous tour! We saw so much of Great Britain! This tour is great! If you have never traveled to GB or traveled overseas, like us, this is the way to do it. Our tour director was so informative, organized and humorous! The bus driver was excellent and so personable. Everything was taken care of for us. No worries...just fun. Our fellow travelers were wonderful. Meals and hotels were excellent. I would definitely recommend this tour. I look forward to taking another CIE tour in the future.

Highlights of Britain - 14 Days/13 Nights
The itinerary was excellent for a highlight tour--we saw a lot, not in depth, but got a good feel for where I would like to go in the future. The traveling per se (coach and driver) was excellent and our tour guide went out of his way to give us interesting information about the UK and the places we were visiting. He also went the extra mile when we had free time, ensuring that we had options as to how to spend our free time. The hotels were all perfectly acceptable--clean, friendly staff, conveniently located.

Highlights of Britain - 14 Days/13 Nights
I like Windsor and the Castle Hotel very much. The food at the restaurant, Leaf At the Castle Hotel was really good. The staff there are very friendly and helpful especially Danusia. Danusia is the server when I had my dinner there on the second day of my stay. I told her I didn't have a chance to enjoy the Afternoon Tea because when I got back to the hotel it was almost 7 o'clock in the evening and I would be leaving the following morning. I heard the scone in the Afternoon Tea is exceptional. She told the kitchen and came back saying the chef would make the scone for me. Her effort is much appreciated.

Highlights of Britain - 14 Days/13 Nights
This was a great tour to see all that Britain has to offer. The guide and bus driver were both wonderful. We were lucky in the fact that it only really rained at one of our destinations.

Highlights of Britain - 14 Days/13 Nights-It really was a whirlwind tour
We wanted to get a taste of Great Britain, but the pace of the tour was too fast. Yes, we could "keep up" but visiting everything on the schedule required a lot of driving which in turn depended on no traffic delays. We indeed did have some of these which further limited the amount of time we could spend at any one place. I will likely book with CIE again, but will go for a shorter tour which allows more time at each site.
